Commonly asked Questions and shop info: 

What is the normal processing time for my order?  

Thank you for your order!  Ready to ship inventory will process and ship within 3 - 5 days of order received when ordered separately from made to order product.  Made to order handmade basics and products will process in average of 2 weeks.    Please expect 3-4 week turn around on all orders with screen printed items (these must be sent out to our printer)- unless specified as ready to ship inventory.  All orders are guaranteed to process within 4 weeks.  Please see item descriptions to verify average product processing times. How do I care for my handmade Garments? 

Handmade knit products are more fragile than factory produced.  Please wash and wear with care.  Hand wash or machine wash in cold water on GENTLE cycle with like colors.  Lay flat to dry.  Normal wash and wear fading may occur.  Seams are overlock serged they are not industrial flat stitched.  There is not a life time warranty guarantee on any handmade articles.  Items will not be eligible for exchange/return for normal wear.   See damaged item section for repair info.  

 

What is the Hen House Apparel Shipping policy? 

Hen House Apparel is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.  Once they are scanned by USPS Hen House Apparel releases all responsibility of package and contents.  Tracking will be provided for every order.  First Class packages do not come with insurance.  Please purchase Priority Shipping if you would like $50 insurance on your package.  If you do not receive your package please use the tracking tool and contact your local USPS location to file a claim.   Ordering Priority does not under any circumstances rush the processing of your order, only the shipping speed provided by USPS.  

 

I need my order ASAP!  Do you offer rush processing? 

If you would like to rush your made to order items please contact me via email henhouseapparel@gmail.com with your request and order number.  Please also submit your pay pal email address to process your rush payment request.  Rushing your order is on a per item basis.  If i have the material in stock i will do my best to honor a rush.  There is a fee of $10 per item to rush your order.  If you have multiple items in your order, addition shipping fees may be required to rush a partial order.  If your rush is accepted your order will be processed within 3- 5 business days. 

 

I ordered the wrong size!  Oops!  Do you offer returns/refunds?  

Every item is handmade in limited quantities.   Returns will not be issued.  Exchanges and Shop credits may be awarded at shop discretion.  Buyer will be responsible for return shipping on any exchanges or shop credit.  Refunds will not be issued after 48 hours of your order being placed - be aware processing may take up to 4 weeks.  Please see our size chart before placing your order and size accordingly

 

What if you receive an unfortunately damaged or 'unfinished' item :

While extremely rare, the occurrence is possible, any items damaged or incomplete upon receipt (in undamaged packaging) will be offered exchange or repair.   Please contact us right away (within 3 days of receipt) via email henhouseappare@gmail.com if your item is not up to our very high expectations.  Your satisfaction is of the upmost importance to us and we want to make sure we do everything we can to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your purchase and experience.  If your garment degrades during normal wash and wear I am happy to mend them for you, an invoice will be sent to provided email for shipping only, there is no charge for mending a Hen House Apparel article of clothing purchased direct.
